Mains Booster Pumps
Mains booster pumps are utilised to enhance the water pressure and flow rate from a property's main water supply. They are typically installed just after the cold water mains inlet to increase the water pressure throughout the entire home.
Key points about mains booster pumps:
- They are designed to easily fit onto the incoming cold water mains supply to provide the whole house with additional cold water pressure.
- In the UK, the Water Supply and Fittings Regulations permit boosting mains water as long as the pumped flow rate does not exceed 12 litres per minute.
